history

Academy of Pastry Arts is an International group of Professional Culinary & Pastry Schools located in Malaysia, Philippines, Delhi NCR and Bangalore. The journey started in 2010 with the flagship school in Malaysia. The company plans to be in Dubai and Indonesia very soon.

With a cumulative area of about 80,000 Sq Ft consisting of 46 kitchens and other infrastructure like an an amphitheater, cafeteria, etc, we are the biggest brand in Asia.

Personal instructions and hands-on training from world class chef instructors in a professional environment remain our hallmark. We ensure personal attention to each student’s individual career goals, from the moment they attend their first class with us and maintain an amicable relationship with alumni throughout their career.

We ensure the best ingredients and equipment available to our students in the kitchens are avant-garde to the core and specifically designed to teach the art, science, technique, and method needed to excel in the food industry. The batch size is deliberately kept small so that the chef can pay attention to each student.

We are visited by the largest number of Master Chefs of the level of MOF, World Champions, Master Chocolatiers and Master Bakers. A total of over 75 such classes were conducted in our centers in 2017. These classes are designed for industry professionals who want to upgrade their skills.

Cakes were and will always be the ‘in’ thing every season. The concept of cakes was first brought to India by the British. And it was one of the few good things they presented and bestowed India with. In fact, it was a delicious present, and like all good things in life, it became a part of parcel of our lives, the lives of an average Indian household.

Cakes have come from the Viking word ‘kaka’. In earlier times cakes were made by mixing butter, nuts, and honey to bread. With the passage of time as men gained more control over heat, cake making became simpler and cakes became more sophisticated in nature. Cakes have always been associated with the good events of life. May it be a birthday celebration or a wedding or a mere official or family function, cakes are the object of our admiration and affection.
